We had such an amazing time at our first ever Screen Printing workshop in the Wynwood Yard. If you haven't been, you need to, food trucks, live music and cool events. I joined forces during Art Basel with the gorgeous girls from Juan de Arco to demonstrate how both our companies hand screen print our products. I enjoyed glazing these handmade tiles for a small project at home. Pottery is quite the process, lots of drying time, cooling off, under glazing, firing, glazing, 2nd firing I'm a real fly by the seat of my pants kind of girl so I was excited to finally have them ready, all glossy and beautiful. One really appreciates the process and what it takes to make a tile from scratch!! I got such a great response to them that I made some extras to sell,will post soon. They make fun coasters, borders, back splashes but by no means will I go into the tile making business! Will post some more pics once I start the project!
