CONTRAPOSITION
An artist’s view from an artist's view 

A Collaboration between two contemporary artists create 5,000 miles apart Sophie Bonet Miami, Florida and Marcella Novotny Genoa, Italy.

This series features mixed media works and experimental photography.

 

Sophie Bonet approaches her art through open experimentation of the media and refine my visual and conceptual vocabulary by manipulating non-conventional photographic techniques.

"Elements from mystical and anthropological nature define the aesthetic of Sophies compositions. She exposes the human figure as representation of the “vehicle” that travels through different stages of consciousness and existence in search for answers to our most intimate and primal formulations. It brings her own approach and fascination for the feminine aspect of life in conjunction with nature"
